Customized Treatment Protocols

Protocols which meet the Texas Department of Health requirements are provided as a part of the service of EMS-MD. These protocols can be customized to meet the needs of your department and area of service.

Paramedics and EMT-B's are encouraged to practice at their level of certification. This ability to treat patients in a wide range of emergencies simplifies treatment in the field. Calls for on-line medical control are reduced and staff satisfaction is increased. Fewer calls from the scene translate into faster treatment times and better patient care.

Continuing Quality Improvement Image

A structured program of continuing quality improvement is a key component of EMS operations. Our standards include daily review of all run data as well as monthly topics for special consideration.

Routine discussions with the Medical Director provide the platform for monitoring of compliance with all field performance guidelines. Data submitted for review will be evaluated and a timely response will be provided to your department.
